Among the programs of the CTBUH
2004 Seoul C onference, the Educational Session is
a program intended for non-professionals, especially
undergraduate students of architectural engineering,
to raise their interest in tall buildings. Unlike
the Special Session or the Corporation Se ssion, whose
audiences are experts in the construction industry,
the Educational Session will present rather general
easy-to-understand materials for its audience. ,
The panel of speakers and invited guests for the Educational
Ses sion consist of world renowned specialists in
the construction of tall buildings whose specialties
range from design, structuring, facilitating, and
construction to academics.
The Educational Session will be an excellent opportunity
for undergraduate students to gain a comprehensive
appreciation of the processes required for the construction
of tall buildings. W e look forward to seeing many
interested students.
